Our Mission

Soroco Athletics is an education based program, serving as an extension of our academic classrooms. As extremely influential adults in our students' lives, our coaches use the platform of sports to teach our students and guide them in developing character traits that will help them find success throughout the rest of their lives. These values include the drive to perform at one's highest level, the toughness to overcome challenges and embrace the adversity associated with reaching high expectations, setting goals and using teamwork to achieve them, and the adherence to fairness, respect, and sportsmanship.

Sports Offered at Soroco High School and Middle School

Cost to Play a Sport

$10 Middle School Sport (Free & Reduced)

$15 High School Sport (Free & Reduced)

$60 Middle School Sport (Regular Rate)

$100 High School Sport (Regular Rate)


Each student will pay for a maximum of two sports in a given school year. If a student plays three (or four middle school) sports, there will be no athletic fee for the third or fourth sport.


If money is an issue, there are alternative ways to contribute to our athletic department. We rely heavily on volunteer workers to successfully operate all of our home sporting events. If you would like to serve as a volunteer, we will gladly waive your athletic fee.

Requirements to Play a Sport

All student athletes must submit the following:


  • Physical
  • Baseline Concussion Test (mandatory for ALL sports / free of charge)
  • Insurance Requirement
  • Parent/Guardian Permission
  • Free & Reduced lunch form - Completed for the lunch program
  • Athletic Fee - Make checks to Soroco Athletics
  • Emergency Consent Form
  • Soroco Athletic Contract
  • Alcohol and Illegal Substance Policy
  • Alternative Transport Permission Form (optional)
  • CHSAA Contract (high school only)

Registration Instructions

  1. Visit https://www.familyid.com/organizations/soroco-middle-high-school/

  2. Select the registration form under the word Programs.

  3. Next click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.

  4. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.

  5. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc).

  6. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com

  7. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red * are required to have an answer.

  8. Click the Save & Continue button when your form is complete.

  9. Review your registration summary.

  10. For payment through FamilyID, credit or debit card: Click the green Pay & Submit button and submit your information.

Middle School Cross Country - 5:00 to 6:30 pm PARENT MEETING @ 6:30

Middle School Volleyball - 5:00 to 6:30 pm PARENT MEETING @ 6:30

Middle School Football - 8:00 to 10:00 am PARENT MEETING @ 10:30

High School Cross Country - 9:00 to 11:00 am (meet in the High School Commons)

High School Volleyball - 7:30 to 10:30 am (meet at the High School Gym)

High School Football - 6:00 to 8:30 pm (meet on the upper field)
