Nationalism is "a sentiment based on a common cultural characteristic that binds a population and often produces a policy of national independence or separatism."
How did Nationalism help cause WW1
Nationalism was part of the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The people that killed him were nationalistic. They killed him because they believed it was for the right of their country. Nationalist would also give money or support their country's actions.
