Earth's rotation

To Rotate or Not To Rotate

Way To Move

Earth moves from the West towards the East. Earth moves anti-clockwise as noticed from the North Star. Earth's axis meets its surface at the Terrestrial North Pole also known as the North Pole.

Tilting Very Useful!!!

Earth is slightly tilted and therefore provides us with seasons without any solid interruptions. Earth's 23.5 degree tilt confirms that when it is Summer in the North its Winter in the south and so on.

Rotation Simple But Thorough

The earth rotates about an imaginary line that passes through the North and South Poles of the planet. This line is called the axis of rotation. In order for a whole day to occur Earth rotates about this axis once each day.
