Emerging Adults
National Black Catholic Month
It is November, and it is Black Catholic History Month. On July 24th, the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus of the United States designated November as Black Catholic History Month to celebrate the long history and proud heritage of Black Catholics.
This month, the Emerging Adults of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church will participate in Black Catholic History Month by educating ourselves, dialoging with each other, and sharing with others the history and contributions of Black Catholics. In doing so, we hope to become more knowledgable, and aware of the many unique and diverse voice that have contributed to the beauty that is the Catholic Church today.
In the below link, you will find a Black Catholic History Month resource package provided us by the office of Black Catholics Archdiocese of Washington. Please join in with us as the Emerging Adults of Most Blessed Sacrament Church celebrate Black Catholic History Month.
Thank You,
