April Newsletter

Spring races along this month with Prom, baseball season, Easter, and so much more! Finding time to schedule a visit to the library may be tricky, but don't give up. We will do our best to get you in despite our staff being pulled to monitor the SAT, CAST, and CAASPP state tests. You can always call us at extension 28140 or 28152 to check availability.

Our theme this month is poetry as it is once again Nation Poetry Month. But it is also the start of baseball season! Luckily, baseball has inspired many poets, and I'll be sharing their insights in the days to come. Check your email for a poem a day throughout April.

Important Dates to Remember!

Friday, April 21st

Seniors MUST notify the textbook center of any lost books by April 21st so that we may advise them on on how to get cleared for graduation. Do not wait until Senior Clearing Day because there will be fewer options by that time.

Friday, April 28th

The last day for core literature checkouts from the textbook center is April 28th. Also, teachers and students may start returning items that are no longer needed. However, be advised that we won't re-issue the item if you change your mind. No more check outs, please!

Friday, May 5th

The library will open Friday morning before school and then CLOSE for the rest of the school year. Only the textbook center will be open for book returns. Students can return library materials after 3PM to the county library or to the county book drop.

REMEMBER: NO TEXTBOOKS IN THE BOOK DROP!!!
