Vision Martial Arts

Come join your fellow Cheetahs and show your school spirit Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2pm-5pm at Vision Martial Arts at Kildaire Farm and Ten Ten Rd.

They will be selling 10 classes for $20 to students who have not previously registered at a Vision school. 100% of the money collected from sales will go to HSES PTA. You read that right, 100%!! Multiple students will be able to come in at a time and do a short board breaking lesson, break the board, and purchase their 10 classes. The certificate can then be used at any Vision school in Wake County. See you there!

Meet the PTA

Families, please take an opportunity to meet our fabulous PTA on Monday, March 25 from 3:30-4:30pm and/or Thursday, April 4 from 9am-10am in the HSES media center.

National Volunteer Service Week

National Volunteer Service Week is April 8th - 12th, and we are inviting all HSES families to participate. It is the goal of Wake County to have programs and activities that support efforts to develop good character and give students the opportunity to learn how to act responsibly toward others. All schools are encouraged to provide opportunities for student involvement in community service or service-learning projects. Our school has chosen to participate in the National Volunteer Service Week by participating in two main service activities. With the support of the HSES Student Council, we will be writing letters to active service members or veterans, as well as continuing our annual food drive to support the Holly Springs Food Cupboard. Due to the track in/track out that occured, the Food Drive will continue through the month of March. Please show your support by sending in the donated bags with items. Teachers will be incorporating the letter writing into their social studies curriculum during the same period of time. You can also encourage students to write letters at home and send them in to school. We are grateful for your support and are excited to see what the HSES community can do together during this time!

Intent Notification

Families,

As we move toward the 2019-2020 school year, it is important that we are aware of the intentions of each family. Planning enrollment is one of the most critical elements to planning a new school year. To have a better idea of student enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year, we would like to know your intentions (Please note that this is not binding).

Track 4 families: Please complete and return your letter by March 29, 2019.

Track 1,2,3 families: Please complete and return your letter by April 10, 2019.

Soccer Club

I am very excited to start a soccer club here at Holly Springs. I've played soccer since I was 4 years old and grew up having many coaches that impacted my life on and off the soccer field. My hope is to impact HSES students by creating lifelong memories while learning the game of soccer, just as I did.
