If you are able, we would gladly accept individually wrapped snacks to be kept in the classroom to provide to students who forget them!
SPIRIT DAYS!
Each Monday at Oak Point, we celebrate college spirit day. Wear your favorite team gear and join in the fun!
We celebrate our house and wear house colors on Wednesdays!
On Fridays, we come together in Lobo Pride and wear Little Elm spirit wear!
The Importance of Reading Often
We know that in order for students to develop into great readers, they need to read often. We also know that the quickest way to destroy a natural love of reading is to issue it as a prescription. So we are asking you to work in a partnership with us and your child, to ensure that they are reading as much as possible, as often as possible. It might not happen every single night for 20 minutes - some nights are full of baseball practice and dance lessons and family fun.... but some nights we hope it happens for much longer than 20 minutes and is so full of magic and excitement that they are begging for just a few more minutes. We will not be sending home a daily log, we are partners in this journey and we respect your family schedule and time. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist your family in making reading time meaningful and fun!
