Weekly Update- May 2, 2019
This is lengthy... brace yourself! :)
Week at a Glance
Math- We are in unit 6 right now and almost finished! We've been focusing on attributes as shapes as well as area and perimeter.
Computer Science- Our E4Tech lessons have given us a double dose of math this week as we've been focusing on finding the perimeter of Lake Erie shipwrecks. Next week we will look at finding the area and perimeter of various flags.
Writing- We jumped back to our opinion unit after 2 weeks of testing. Today we focused on organizing and categorizing our writing so it makes sense for the reader.

Entrepreneur Day
If your child would like to purchase anything, please send money with them on May 16th. Please only send one dollar bills and change (excluding pennies).
Also, if you have extra plastic grocery bags, please send them in so we can use them that day. :)
Field Day Volunteers
Our class will attend field day in the afternoon.
Homework Options
- Read 20 mins a night (Big Universe or NewsELA work too)
- Lexia
- Practice multiplication and Division facts
- ALEKS
- Prodigy
- Write your own shape riddles with 4 clues
- Write a letter to a 2nd grader telling them important things about 4th grade
...or just enjoy the nice weather and time with family. :)
