Math
This week in math, students were able to decompose three-digit numbers. Here is an example: 345 is the same as 3 hundreds, 4 tens, and 5 ones. Students also practiced the strategies they have learned for subtracting one-digit numbers from three-digit numbers. Along with these, they also subtracted two-digit numbers from three-digit numbers. Next week, we’re going to continue to work on subtraction with regrouping. The newsletter which was sent to your home this week also has great tips for you and your child.
