Pablo Picasso was born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain. He died on April 8, 1973 in Mougins, France.
His full name was Pablo Diego Jose Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomaceno Mario De los Remedios Ciprino de la Santisima Trinidad Matyr Potricio Clito Ruiz y Picasso
Pablo Picasso's parents names were Jose Ruiz y Blasco and Dona Maria Picasso y Lopez. He was married twice, the first time to Olga Khokhlore who was a dancer and his second time to Jacqueline Rogue who is best known for being his second wife. He had four children, Paul, Maya, Claude and Paloma.

Pablo Picasso is most famous for making paintings and sculptures. He went through many transitions, such as Blue, Rose, Cubism, Classical, Surrealism.
He used oil paints, water color paints, engraving and pencil. Oil paint is made of ground materials suspended in oil, and pencils are made of wood and lead.

How He Got Started
Pablo Picasso started painting when he was eight years old because his father was a also a painter. He went to many schools, including Bracelona School of Fine Arts, Royal Academy of San Fernando and La Llofja. He continued making art up until three years before his death.
