Making a difference, one person at a time
October 14 - 21st
Allow me to formally introduce Mr. Darren Taylor our Home/School Liaison, Social Worker,
Counselor, Jack of All Trades staff member in the elementary buildings! Darren's mission for this district is to be a positive support outlet for kids!
Mr. Taylor has been spread throughout the district, so you may already have heard of him. Most students refer to Mr. Taylor as, Mr. T., or “The Bow Tie Guy”. (FYI: I wear bow ties
a lot.) His presence has been noticed in all of the buildings where he has worked as a long term substitute teacher for an excessive amount of time and worked. You could have even met Darren at Kohl’s where he has worked in the past.
Darren's main purpose at the elementary buildings is to be another resource
for students to achieve success. Mr. Bow Tie is available to all students and plans to be a bridge between home and school for families and students.
Ultimately, if your child talks about Mr. Bow Tie, simply understand that he is another resource to help educate and support the Whole Child. Additionally, Darren will work very closely with Mrs. Colleen Comden-White and Mr. Jeff Kinney. This team of three is invaluable in the effort to support our students.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the Warner Office for further information.
