Projectile Motion
Poster:
What is Projectile Motion?
Projectile motion is a form of motion where an object or particle (called a projectile) is thrown near the Earth's surface, and it moves along a curved path under the action of gravity only.
What is the Amplitude, (or the height)?
Physics:
Amplitude is the maximum extent of vibration or oscillation, measured from the point of equilibrium. What is the Parabola?
A symmetrical open plane curve formed by the intersection of a cone with a plane parallel to its side. The path of a projectile under the influence of gravity ideally follows a curve of this shape.
