Bengal Tigers
1. Describe the animal.
The Bengal tiger is a orange tiger with black stripes, but there are also white bengal tiger with black stripes. It weighs about 240-500 pounds. It is about the size of a man. It lives from 8 to 10 years.

2. How is it born and how does its mother care for its young?
Females give birth to around 2 to 6 live cubs. the cubs cannot hunt until they are 18 months old and they stay with there mother for two to three years after birth. The mom teaches the cubs to hunt and fight for their survival in the wild.

3. How does it get its food? What does It Eat?
For the tiger to eat it must go out and hunt for itself. Ift has to know how to hide itself in cover and to sneak up on it prey. It is a carnivore so it eat meat. The types of animals it eats are buffalo, deer, wild pigs, and other large mammals.

5. Who are it’s enemies, and how does it defend itself?
It’s number one enemy is mankind. They hunt them and destroy their habitat. It defends itself by attacking humans. The bengal tiger kills the most humans in the world almost every year.
