Upcoming Event for our Seniors on Wednesday, February 8th from 9-10am
Clearview is looking forward to having a speaker share his story with the senior class as a follow up to their mental health unit in Health classes this year.
*As a reminder, it is very important to have continued conversations about mental health with our young people. Students need to know where to find mental health professionals both in their high school as well as college campuses. Military and work areas also offer mental health counseling to their individuals. It is a sign of strength to ask for help and connect with others.
What's Your Grief - Webinar to start the new year
Grieving in the New Year: A Free Webinar
We know how hard it can be to move into the new year. There are fears we are leaving the people we've lost behind. There can be self-judgements about how we're coping, thinking we should be doing better. There can be paralysis about how to find the coping and support that will feel useful. Many people are left feeling like, "New year, same grief. What now?".
There is no guidebook or easy answers, but there are some things that can help. To help you move into this year in a way that can feel the best that it can in your grief, we're hosing a free webinar to help you consider how you will connect with and cope with your grief in the coming year. We'll offer some concrete tools and takeaways to help you reflect on your own personal grief and your own coping.
This will be a zoom webinar (not meeting), so no pressure to talk (except in the chat if you'd like!). So you're welcome to just listen in. A recording will be available if you can't join live.
