A Word from Your Friendly Neighborhood Principal. . .
Parents,
All of us here at RHES feel so very appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to show your gratitude to all of the men and women who serve your children each and every day! The compliments, snacks, food, notes, and overall appreciation was overwhelming. The lunches were down right delicious! There are so many to thank! Those that decorated the foyer and halls for the week, those that went to pick up the food, those that served the food, those that cleaned up the lunches each day, those that made little gift bags and delivered those in mailboxes, those that donated gift cards, and the list goes on and on! Thank you!! Please take a look at the photos below of the beautiful decorations that were created just for this week's events!! WOW!
After all of the work that went into this week, a group of dedicated parents have also been preparing for our Spring Bingo Night TONIGHT! Our room parents worked with many of you to put raffle baskets together to continue to raise funds for the funding of a new digital front sign and more! Raffle tickets have been sold each morning and the children can't wait to see if they get lucky!! It's going to be a great community event OUTSIDE!! Don't forget to bring your chairs or blankets and a jacket!
SOL testing starts next week! All the best to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders! You guys and gals are READY!
Sincerely,
Andrew Davis - Principal
APRIL GOLDEN BEAR AWARD WINNERS
We are excited to announce our ROUND HILL GOLDEN BEARS for the month! Each month, a student from every classroom is nominated to receive this award. All students chosen for this award model our 3 R’s at Round Hill Elementary - they are Responsible, Respectful, and Ready to learn each and every day!
To celebrate our Round Hill Golden Bears, each student nominated is announced on our Morning News Show. In addition, they will receive a certificate that includes the reasons why their teacher chose them for this award along with a golden bear paw charm. Please join me in congratulating our Round Hill Golden Bears!
Life Lesson with Mr. Davis. . . . Actually with Ms. Davis this week!!
