Course Selection for Next Year
We will be accepting course request changes until June 2, 2022. Changes can be made using the Google form linked below. The following courses are closed and are not available at this time: Beginner Theater, Advanced Spanish II (8th graders only) and Principles of Human Services (8th graders only). Please note if you choose to change into these closed electives, you will be placed on a waiting list.

National School Counselor's Week 2022
From August to January, our counseling department saw students for the following services:
- Guidance - 6,850 students seen during guidance lessons which facilitate student growth and development.
- Responsive services - 1,366 students seen to address their immediate social, emotional, career readiness, and personal health and safety needs.
- Individual planning - 1,105 students seen to assist with planning, monitoring, and managing their own educational, career, personal and social growth.
- System support - 1,970 hours spent planning for and supporting programs which indirectly benefit students.

Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships
In March, the counseling department visited social studies classrooms to bring awareness to the value of recognizing the characteristics and attributes of both healthy and unhealthy relationships. The four areas of focus were balance, boundaries, stability, and acceptance.
Pillar of Character Recognitions for Trustworthiness and Responsibilty
Wonders & Worries - Professional support for children through a parent's illness
- Services are always free, regardless of income or insurance.
- Sessions are offered in English or Spanish.
- Wonders & Worries supports serious illness and injuries including cancer, heart disease, neurological conditions, kidney disease, strokes, paralysis, and traumatic brain injuries.
