Farewell

Last Friday we said goodbye to Mr. Michael Bucksmith who taken up a position as a co-Principal within an international school in Vietnam. Mr Bucksmith loved his time here at IPS and this was reiterated in a surprise video from him that the students watched on Monday as part of our school assemblies. Inglewood Primary School is soo grateful for the time and care that he put into the staff, students and whānau. He was involved in soo many areas of IPS school life and has has such a positive impact upon the school kaupapa.

We will also be farewelling Mrs Koron Powell at the end of this term. Mrs Powell has won and accepted a position as a team leader at Motoura School in New Plymouth. Although we will be losing such a wonderful kaiako, we know that Koron will make a huge impact upon their kura as she has done here at IPS. We wish Koron the very best as she embarks on this new and exciting journey within her education career.

Staff Carpark

Our fabulous new staff car park will be opening soon. Moving the staff car park, will keep children safe walking to and from classrooms without vehicles driving around beside the hall and swimming pool area. Please note this is a staff car park only and all visitors and caregivers are required to park on the road. Thank you for keeping our children safe.

Biking To School

Please talk to your children about biking to and from school safely. Especially the importance of stopping at a street and looking for vehicles before riding their bikes across. We have had a few phone calls lately from members of the community very worried about our children on their bikes. Thank you
