Mrs. Robertson's Running Rules
I want to wish you a good summer and to encourage you to stay active, get outdoors as much as possible and play hard. It’s been a pleasure being your teacher and working with you in PE. Episode 3 of my video series is below.
Mrs. Robertson
Title Tales with Ms. McCoy
This has been a year we will never forget. Now that summer is here, enjoy family time and keep those academic skills strong by reading together and making time for children to read at their level. Summer reading allows children to go on adventures, beat boredom, and choose their own learning path. Students in Title groups look for the Summer Bridges activity book in your bag on July 1 & 2.
Our Most Important Partnership: Parents and Schools Working Together
When families and schools work together, students are more successful and the entire community benefits. We believe that strengthening the voice of families by bringing focus to the needs of students allows every student to reach their full potential. At Prairie View Elementary, our School-wide Title I program provides help for students in need of supplemental help in reading, writing and math.
An important part of our Title I School-wide program is the School-Parent Compact, a document distributed to all families in our registration packet. The compact outlines how parents, school staff, and students share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement.
We ask parents to partner with us to update our School-Parent Compact for the upcoming school year, 2020-2021. We invite parents to review the current version of our School-Parent Compact from this link.
Since we are unable to meet together in person, we encourage a dialogue with parents through email and by phone. After reviewing the document, please send us any questions or comments you may have. We care about your concerns and appreciate suggestions for changes you would like to see made to benefit students, families, and our school community.
Please email jmccoy@sd273.com, Title I Coordinator, or directly to Principal Baker at jbaker@sd273.com. You could also text or leave a voicemail at 208-352-6958 or at school.
