Mental Health from the Law Enforcement Perspective
Please join the Conejo Valley Unified School District's BreakThrough Student Assistance Program, and the Conejo Schools Foundation for the first Parent Workshop and Education Series event of the 2018-2019 school year featuring presenter Tim Hagel, Chief of Police for the City of Thousand Oaks. Chief Hagel will share his unique perspective and lead a discussion on the important topic of mental health and safety.
All parents/guardians of CVUSD students are invited to attend one or all of the FREE monthly workshops. Workshops offer support, education and a safe place to ask professionals questions. Each month features a new speaker and topic.

Presenter Bio:
Commander Tim Hagel is assigned as the Chief of Police for the City of Thousand Oaks. Commander Hagel has been employed with the Ventura County Sheriff's Office since 1987. He was born and raised in the City of Thousand Oaks and after graduating from Thousand Oaks High School he attended Moorpark College. Commander Hagel transferred to the California State University system and attended Humboldt, Northridge and Dominguez Hills Universities. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Commander Hagel is a recipient of the Medal of Valor and the Ventura County Innovative Manager of the Year.
