Dear Families and Community Members:

We completed another successful week at JCUE! The first MAAP test is 15 days away on May 3, 2021. Parents we ask that you encourage your child to continue doing their best as we prepare for this assessment.

Student Chromebooks are set to update. To update the Chromebook, power it off and back on. It will reset itself. It is now time to pay Chromebook fees. The fee is $45 for one child and $5 for each additional child. This money should be paid to the school secretary. If you have more than one child, pay the fee to one secretary. All fees should be paid in full by April 30, 2021.

A huge thanks to all students and parents that purchased MAAP t-shirts. A pickup day and activities will be announced next week.

Don't forget to attend our April Parent Meeting on April 15, 2021 at 5:30pm. Details are listed below.

When approaching schoolwork with your child, consider guiding rather than telling. Empowered students, students with choice, feel engaged in their schoolwork and motivated to grow. So rather than being directive, discuss options with them. After all, there’s usually more than one “right” way to solve most problems. By suggesting various options and allowing them to choose, you’ll empower your child to take ownership of their decisions while boosting their self-confidence and cultivating their independence.
