Assessing & Grading in a Differentiated Classroom
Attend session 3 of Initial Cluster Training to:
- Determine how to incorporate assessment throughout the entire instructional process using practical assessment strategies that save time and provide valuable student data.
- Learn about management approaches which support a differentiated classroom.
- Use available student data to personalize instruction.
December 5, 2016- I.E.P. Secondary Transition Planning
Intervention Specialists and Administrators, attend this session to learn more about transition planning and the role the I.E.P. plays in supporting career advising for students with disabilities. This training was also offered on November 9, 2016 . Region 12 SST will be leading this professional learning.
December 7, 2016 - School Counselor's Forum (11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
- Thinking outside the box. Do high school visits from admission's reps still make sense? What could we all do better/differently?

December 7, 2016 - Science Tool Kit Grade 3 with Linda Rogness (8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
Come and learn innovative and inquiry-based science lessons that have been student-tested! These cross-curricular lessons involve students in those simple, fun activities that teach students science concepts. As students engage in the activities, they’ll learn to record in science journals with pictures, words and sentences. Attend this session for a fun way to teach science!

Attend session 4 of the Learning for Leadership Series to examine the element of Coaching/Mentoring. Participants will learn strategies for strengthening coaching. Topics include: Teacher Reflective Tendencies, Classroom Instructional Practices at each level, Differentiated Coaching Strategies, Transformational Feedback and Leadership Roles. Examine the critical elements of coaching success (Commitment to process, mutual trust, and clear, measurable goals connected to teacher and student growth.)
