January 2024 (Where the Arts Come Alive)
Message from the Principal
Happy New Year!
Welcome back Red Hawk Families!
I would like to extend best wishes to you all for a happy and healthy new year.I hope you and your family enjoyed the long, well deserved Winter Break. The students have adjusted smoothly back into the rhythm of learning and routines of the school, and we are so excited to have them back.
During the break, I took some time to reflect on our successes and think about the opportunities that lie ahead in the 2024 year. As we start this new year and prepare for our state testing, I encourage you to take some time to reflect with your student on how they can finish the year strong. This is the perfect time to set goals or write resolutions. Often, students are reminded of our expectations of them, but rarely do they get to share the expectations they have for themselves.

Enjoy the family activity, and again, Happy New Year!
Love,
Principal Humphries

School Attire
- Bring a sweater for the classroom! The heat is on, but it can still get chilly on cold days. Please write your child's name in their sweater so we can return it to them if they forget to grab it.
- CLOSED TOE SHOES are a must. For your child's safety, make sure they have on the appropriate foot wear so that they do not get injured at play.
- SEND A Water Bottle: Please send a water bottle with your child's name on it. We have water stations not water fountains. Students need bottles in order to get water.
