It’s that time of year where we get to choose two of our colleagues for the prestigious recognition of Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching and Teacher of the Year. Please see the email for details about nominating and voting for outstanding staff members.
Campus Safety Inspection
The Campus Safety Inspection will take place early next week. In preparation to receive a glowing score, here are some reminders:
All items should be off the window areas/blinds
The entrance to you classroom should to be clear to exit and clutter free
Nothing on the air vents (You can place items on the non-vent area)
Desks should be 36 inches from air conditioning unit
Personal cleaning items are prohibited according to policy he will open closet & cabinet doors
If anything is hanging from the ceiling it should be on fishing line string
Purses, cell phones, keys, should be put away out of sight (even if you are in the classroom)
Less than 25% of combustible art work/paper covering the walls
If you are not using the materials take the stuff home
Nothing should be under or around the thermostats on the wall
If you see anything broken or out of place please email me back so I can put in a work order. Please be specific with item and area.
Every room has to have an evacuation map (thank you Ms. Rendon for getting this done)
Karmen Chavez will escort Mr. De Los Santos around so please keep teaching. If I am not able to walk with him he will be traveling on his own, with Ray, or with Tony.

Leader in Me Implementation
The Leader in Me classroom environment targeted walk-throughs began on Monday, October 5, 2015. As of today, 49% of staff have made progress towards our campus goal by meeting the classroom expectations.
Please be sure to meet the expectations by January 4, 2016 so that we can reach the campus goal of 100%.

Fast Math & Fraction Nation Usage Report
1st-5th GLC's please let me know by Friday, January 8th if your grade level team intends to utilize or continue to use these programs. I would like to return this gift back to the Math Department to share with another campus if we do not feel that it meets the needs of our students.
1st-5th Grade Level Chairmen will find a usage report for the Fast Math and Fraction Nation licensing Coker was gifted by the Math Department at the beginning of the year. The usage reports indicate the following as mentioned below:
