Novel Summary

The story is about two men named George and Lennie who need to move for work. They want to find a stable place to settle down. This being their dream and goal for the whole book. They meet people and run into troubles on the way. But in the end they don't make it to there dream due to someones untimely death.

Theme Analysis

The theme of the story is about fear of being alone or isolation. All characters in the story deal with it in there own ways. The wife flirts, Crook uses work, and Candy's dog died leaving him alone in this world which is why he takes part in the dream.
