Thankfulness
Life does not always go your way and sometimes we experience setbacks. Michigan lost 14-13 on Saturday night, but I am so thankful to team 137 for being able to witness what they have accomplished so far this season. It has been truly a pleasure to see Coach Harbaugh and the team advance so quickly to success these past two years. It really helps me keep perspective that each day we need to go out and do all the good we can do. I am thankful for my students, parents, school, 3rd grade teammates and administration support. I am proud to teach at Parsons and blessed to work with your students. As we step closer to Thanksgiving Break, let's remember to appreciate each day and like Coach Harbaugh says, "attack each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind."
Hawkeyes surprise Michigan, 14-13
Iowa showed pride, heart and teamwork in handing Michigan their first loss on the year. The Wolverines did not look sharp in corn country and the Hawkeyes won with a walkoff field goal. It's a disappointing loss for the Wolverines, but Michigan's goals all still are in front of them. Win out from here and all is good. Tip of the cap to Iowa for job well done and back to work for us. Go Blue!
