If you could visit anywhere in the world where would you go? (Where have you been?) Why?

If I could visit anywhere in the world I would love to visit Asia. I have always been interested in that culture.

I have been to numerous cities and states in the US, and in many countries in the Caribbean. I have also visited Italy (Rome, Florence, and Venice) as well as France (Paris).

Recent Accomplishments:

My most recent accomplishment was retiring as an educator after 29 years of service to parents and students.

If you had a piece of advice to give to your peers what would it be?

“Try to find pleasure in what you do because life is to short and it goes to fast”.

Name: Dr. John Gray, Vice Principal

Hobbies: Reading, writing, playing sports and watching sports

Talents: Speaking, writing, singing, dancing and inspiring people to do better

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would you go? (Where have you been?) Why?

The most memorable place I visited was Maui, Hawaii. I visited a place called the “Road to Hana” where I had to drive up a dangerous winding road, but once I got to the top, the view was breath-taking.

A place I want to go to is the Highlands of Scotland. I am always in awe of scenery and the Highlands is known for its beautiful setting.

Recent Accomplishments: I co-authored a book, finished my dissertation, and received my doctoral degree. I was honored to be the keynote speaker at the NEA Denver conference. I am also an adjunct professor at Stockton where I sit on the board of trustees for the EOF program.

If you had a piece of advice to give your peers what would it be?

“Time will pass regardless of what you do with it so you may as well “DO IT” (make the best of it) anyway”
