FSA Writing Makeups

FSA Writing makeups for High School and Middle School will be administered Monday, 4/8, in the gym. If your student has the small group accommodation, then your student will assess on Wednesday, 4/10.

We have currently tested 96.7% of all testers in 6th-10th grade!!! Great job to all of our parents for promoting the importance of this exam and helping your student(s) to be successful!

Free Breakfast for FSA/EOC Testers on Day of Exam

All students taking the FSA or EOC exams will receive a free breakfast on each day of their FSA/EOC exam. Students taking exams by grade (ELA, Writing, Civics, 6th Math) will automatically receive the free meal. Students taking exams not by grade (Alg 1, Geo, 7th Math, 8th Math, Bio, USH) will receive vouchers to use on the first day of the exam. Vouchers for the second day will be distributed by proctors during testing.

Howlabration Awards

Our Students of the Week for Semester 2 will also be recognized at the end-of-the-year awards ceremonies for their grade level. Students who were not recognized for Honor Roll for Semester 1 will be recognized at their end of the year awards ceremonies if students have met all Semester 1 Honor Roll requirements by May 1.

SAT School Day - Tuesday, 4/9

Our 2nd annual SAT School Day administration will take place on Tuesday, 4/9, in the gym. Students will participate in the pre-administration session on Monday, 4/8, during 5th period in the Media Center.

Grad Bash Meeting April 11th

Attention seniors attending Grad Bash: There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday, April 11th in the cafeteria beginning at 8:20am. Mr. Light will be discussing important information regarding dress code and other Grad Bash expectations. Your attendance at this meeting is essential.

ASVAB is April 17

The ASVAB will be held Wednesday, April 17. The ASVAB is required for students who want to enlist in the military. For students who do not plan to pursue a career in the military, the ASVAB is also a helpful tool for career exploration. See Mrs. Larimore or email to sign up. Attention Juniors!!

11th Grade Students are invited to attend a field trip to USF on May 1. See Mrs. Larimore for a permission slip. All permission slips are due by April 10. Bus seating is limited and spots may fill up before the deadline.

FBI Division: Future Agent in Training Program

The FBI Tampa Division is accepting applications for the Future Agent in Training Program. Students must be 16-18 years old and have a 3.0 GPA. Applications are due May 3. See full eligibility requirements and download your application here:

Middle School News

8th Grade Field Trip: May 10th Ticket Sales end APRIL 1st

The 8th Grade Field Trip to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will be May 10th. Students should have received the information letter and permission forms through their social studies teachers. The letter is also available on the school website. The cost is $140 and can be paid by check, cash, or ACORN online with credit card. Ms. Floyd in 3-202 is accepting forms now until APRIL 1st.
