BOTTLE CAP COLLECTION
Hello Symmes Families! Thanks to all of you who have collected plastic bottle caps over the summer to make a bench for our school. Next week (week of August 20) there will be a bin in the front lobby to collect the bags of caps. Please make sure there is nothing else except plastic caps and lids. Also, please rinse and allow the caps to dry before you bring them into school.
The following week we will sort and weigh all of the caps that have been collected to see how far we have to go. Please keep collecting plastic caps all semester!! Our goal is to make sure we have enough for at least one or two benches by Winter break. We will do the final collection sometime in December.
If you have questions, please email Evan at his mom’s email address: karenKschlosser@gmail.com
