Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. It is an extinct volcano which rises in two peaks, Kibo and Mawenzi. Seeing this mountain is a sight worth seeing. Coffee and plantains are raised on KIlimanjaro's southern slopes, so if you want to see where your morning coffee comes from, this is the place to go. HIking is a fun and popular thing to do when visiting Mount Kilimanjaro.
Nile River
This Nile River is 4,160 miles long, making the longest river in the world! It flows north through parts of Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Zaire. So there are a lot of different places to access it. There is rafting and cruises you can take down the Nile, to enjoy and explore this amazing river.
Serengeti Plain
The Serengeti Plain has some of the best grassland area in Central and east Africa. On the plain, there is the Serengeti National Park, a wildlife refuge with more than 500 species of animals. The park has so many amazing animals that when you visit, will take your breath away. This National Park is an awesome experience to enjoy.
Madagascar
Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world. It is made up of highland plateau with lagoons along much of the eastern coast. During your time in Madagascar, you can visit one of their many national parks, such as the Ranomafana National Park, Isalo National Park, and the Ankarafantsika National Park. While visiting these, you can see canyons, rainforests, lemurs, frogs and more! Coming to Madagascar is a fantastic experience.
