The Blue Angel Weekly

November 7, 2022

Dear PCA Families,

We hope you enjoyed the extra hour of sleep this weekend! We have another short week ahead!

On Wednesday, we will have our Student Council Executive Board elections. Students in grades 3-8 will be voting after hearing speeches from all the candidates. We have middle school students running for President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Next week we will have our Good News Book Fair! Students will be attending the Book Fair during their STREAM class next week (November 14-18). More information to come!

We have our Children's Mass every Tuesday at 9:40 AM in the school gymnasium. All parents are welcome to attend.

For your information, we will not have Mass on November 22nd, since Fr. Eric is not available. Students will still go to the gym during Mass time to pray the Rosary together. Parents are welcome to come and join the Rosary.

PCA Christmas Program - Grades PK-5

Our Christmas program for grades PK-5 will take place on December 15th at 5:00 PM at OLSS church. More information to follow! This is a mandatory event for grades PK-5.

Students in grades 6-8 will take their midterm exams on December 14th, 15th, and 19th. Make-up exams will be on December 20th.

NOTE: We will not have exams on the 16th since some of our Middle School students will be participating in the Christmas program as readers or in the choir.

Afternoon Carpool - please read!!!

Please help us to expedite afternoon carline!

Middle School parents, your children are in class until 3:05 and then they return to homeroom. Please plan to pick them up no earlier than 3:10. Our holding area is filling up by 2:55 with middle school parents who have arrived too early. If you come for your children prior to 3:10, we will need to have you circle around the line again. Thank you for your cooperation!

Parents of students in grades 3-5, your children are not dismissed until 2:55. Please plan to pick them up no earlier than that. If you arrive prior to 2:55 for a 3rd-5th grade student, you will be asked to circle around the lot again.

Finally, if your child is at Angels After Hours, and you are coming to regular pick-up, please designate that in the PikMyKid app.

Thank you for your help in getting our students dismissed promptly and safely.
