What we are learning in Room 12...
If your child is going to be absent, please let me know in advance if possible, so I can send make-up work with them.
- Math - We will be finishing up our unit about elapsed time, measurement (kg/g, mL/L), and place value. This week, we will learn about rounding and place value addition/subtraction with regrouping. Please have your child continue to practice multiplication and division facts at home!
- Reading - We will be learning about point of view and we'll learn about Martin Luther King, Jr. to celebrate MLK day.
- Writing/Spelling - In writing, we will be working on creating some New Year's Resolutions for 2018. Our spelling pattern this week is "r-controlled vowels". Our spelling test will be on Friday!
