February Review
The month started out with a fantastic Forensics meet hosted at JLMS. Thank you to all the students, staff, and parents that made the meet a huge success for all involved. The even was also used as a fundraiser to support Mrs. Bowler in her fight against cancer. She is very thankful for all the support and we will look to continue to raise funds to support Mrs. Bowler and her family during this difficult time. The Forensics team was also highlighted at the most recent school board meeting with Abigail Garvey and Kayla Schopbach putting on a wonderful performance for the board!
The 8th grade class took their annual field trip in conjunction with science curriculum to Sunburst in Kewaskum. This trip is always a blast for the students and staff. It is always fun to learn about physics on a tube going down a big hill!
The FBLA team performed well at Regionals, taking 3rd place. Good luck to all the students that have advanced onto the state meet in La Crosse on April 8-10!
The PTG organized another great restaurant fundraising night at Firehouse Subs. Thank you to all that came out and supported JLMS that night for dinner!
Our PBIS staff team continued their Tier 2 training and are looking to start a new Check in & Out system in March. This system will be done electronically for students who are identified as need extra support during the day to keep them focused on being successful at JLMS. Our upcoming focus and reteaching for students is on relationships! Our latest PBIS video production can be seen below.....and yes, it includes additional fruits as a focal point! Mr. Dimmer has once again found a way to keep this a source of teaching students expectations at JLMS.

Wisconsin Forward Exam
Our teachers will be exposing students to the online testing tools that they will use during the exam. As parents, you can also go the the Department of Public Instruction website to learn more about the test and testing tools. You can even take a practice test if you would like. The link below will take you there and feel free to explore!
When we begin testing, students will take a few sections a day as to not cause test fatigue on any given day. The following is the schedule that we will be using for student testing. Students will start their day with exams and then an altered daily schedule will be followed for the remainder of the day. It is crucial for students to get ample sleep the night before a test and eat a healthy breakfast the day of the test!
