ESI Pre-Arrival Challenge 1
Get oriented, intro yourself, meet other participants online
Introductions
Greetings from San Francisco, I hope you are well! It has been awesome getting to know you a little more during the interview process. I am pleased to introduce you to my partner, Ashley Gauer. Ash and I will be working closely together alongside a great team of Coordinators to organize and facilitate a memorable program for you!
Ash brings over ten years of experience in the International Education field from managing study abroad programs and providing visa consulting services to coordinating volunteer immersion trips and teaching English as a Second Language. She has traveled and volunteered across Europe and Asia, and has helped launch social enterprises in Cambodia.
Ash is working on her Master's degree at the Middlebury Institute for International Studies in Monterey, California in International Education Management and Public Administration with an emphasis in Social Entrepreneurship. She is an advocate for intercultural dialogue, environmental stewardship, and global citizenship. "It is in our conversations and immersive experiences that we learn about ourselves and the world around us." This, she believes, is what sparks collaborative and innovative ideas that can solve social issues.
Ash is excited for the Social Innovation program, and very thrilled to meet passionate changemakers (you all) this summer!
