Dealey Dragon Update
January 14, 2018
Dear Dealey families,
What a fantastic first week back! I loved visiting classrooms to see the high level of student engagement. Your students were so excited to get back to learning after a restful break.
Carpool
This week carpool went very well. I appreciate everyone's efforts to have a smooth and easy carpool. Big Shout Out to the SBDM committee (especially Ms. Leach and Mr. Greene) for coordinating this effort. If you have any feedback please send information to me so that I can share your thoughts at SBDM on January 29th.
Parent Conferences
Parent Conferences will be Thursday, January 17 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Your child's teacher will provide information on scheduling a time, and report cards will be distributed at the conferences. If you are unable to attend, your child will receive his/her report card on Friday.
Climate Survey
Please see our Fall 2018 Campus Climate Survey Results. I am in the process of reflecting and developing some next steps personally on how I can improve in the areas that show deficit. Additionally, our Campus Instructional Leadership Team will be meeting on January 22nd to have input into how we can work together as a campus to improve, and we will share this information at SBDM on January 29.
