What's Happening at CMS
Water Bottles
We took a break from water bottles and the halls have been puddle free. However, with the weather getting warmer and students going outside for recess and PE, we are going to allow students to carry their water bottles. We will continue to encourage students to make choices that are safe, respectful, responsible and kind. I appreciate the parents who reached out directly to me with their concerns. Your respectful feedback is appreciated.
Social Media
Please continue to monitor social media accounts. Many students are victims of cyberbullying. The impacts of cyberbullying can have harmful impacts on their social and emotional well being. Common apps and methods we are seeing used in a negative manner are: Group Text messages, TIK TOK, Spotify, SnapChat, Instagram, and Twitter.
Attached is a resource on cyberbully prevention. Let's continue to work together to educate our kids on cyberbullying.

End of the Year Celebrations
Thank you to the CMS PTO and 8th grade celebration committee for working so hard to plan for the 8th grade end of the year celebration. On June 22 and June 23, all 8th grade students will participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to celebrate their time at CMS. The fun activities planned for the students include an assembly, breakfast, raffle prizes, pictures and outdoor activities. At this time we have enough parent volunteers. Donations are still being accepted.
