Girls Basketball Tryouts
Girls who are interested in trying out need to have a physical and concussion test on file in the office before they will be allowed to attend tryouts.

Intramural Sports
Mr. Wenz would like to thank each of the boys that participated in Boy's Intramural Floor Hockey this Fall.
Registration for Boys Intramural Basketball will begin after the holiday break. The program is open to any Romeo Middle School student and will begin in late January. Games are right after school in the auxiliary gym and end around 3:00.
Girls Volleyball:
Girls Intramural volleyball will start in January! Any girls 6th, 7th, & 8th grade are welcome. The registration forms will be in the office right after Christmas break. Please see Mrs Salvatore if you have any questions!
Ski and Snowboard Club

The dates for our trips will be Thursdays: Dec. 6, Dec. 13, Dec 20, Jan 3, Jan. 10, Jan 17, Jan 31, Feb. 7, Feb 14, and Feb 21; after school until 7:45 (when bus returns to RMS)

Each quarter teachers at RMS select students who demonstrate a good work ethic, leadership skills, and helpfulness to others. These are the students who were chosen for this quarter.

Luke is a pleasure to have in class. He is a willing participant in whole class and small group settings. He is a hard worker and treats his classmates with respect.

In Art Class, Carter showed an attention to detail and dedication to his work that I rarely see in 6th graders. He was always focused on the task at hand and set a great example for his fellow classmates.

Reese stands out for her phenomenal cooperative skills and participation. Reese works well with anyone and is definitely an includer. She doesn’t leave anyone out. She also makes the best effort to understand the concepts during class discussion. She asks great questions and helps answer those from the class. Reese is a great role model with a wonderful heart.

I love Aubrie’s eagerness to learn. She is always smiling. She challenges herself to read lengthy texts. Aubrie puts detail into each and every assignment. Her positive attitude stands out in class.

I love when Danielle shares what she is reading with me and with the class. She goes out of her way to read different genres of novels and she takes risks by reading books that aren’t always the latest or the award winners. She is always full of enthusiasm and pays attention to details.

Natalie has been attentive, hard working and helpful since day 1. Her positive attitude and thoroughness with detail make her stand out as a role model and class leader. She is very deserving of this Student of the Quarter honor.

Daniel comes into class with a positive attitude and is always focused and ready to learn. He is always kind and helpful to his classmates and goes out of his way to help struggling students. He has a strong work ethic, is dedicated to his learning, and thorough in his work, these traits make him an excellent leader and role model.

Jesse has demonstrated his ability to problem solve and work through things when he encounters obstacles. He doesn’t let difficult situations stop him from moving forward. Jesse has a great sense of humor and sees the world with a unique perspective that I truly appreciate.

Julia has been an extremely helpful student council member this year. Each day she checks in with me to see if there is anything I need help with and volunteers to help at all student council events. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she is a great role model for her fellow student council members and 6th grade students.

Ruby is one of the most reliable students I know. I can always count on her to make an announcement or follow through with any task we have for student council. She is willing to work with everyone and always has a positive attitude. She is a great asset to Student Council.

Daily Michael demonstrates that he is a true gentleman. He is polite to adults and students alike. He exhibits patience when coaching other students. Michael is willing to take risks when volunteering answers and solutions in the classroom. He takes pride in his work and constantly strives to do well.
