Our Mission
From the desk of Mr. Fuller:
It is hard to believe that we are at the halfway point in this school year. As the saying goes, “ time flies when you’re having fun!”
We are looking forward to some more terrific times in the months ahead. Our staff has been planning many lessons and activities to assist every student in becoming a successful learner. We continue to focus on our core subjects as the foundation of academic achievement, but we are also focused on ways in which we can make school a fun and relevant place for our students.
One of our goals is to continue, and to expand our after-school activities. We have concluded our first session of the robotics club with a well received presentation for our Board of Education. Currently, the art club participants are creating some beautiful pieces which are on display in our showcases. Other programs are in the planning stages. It is our intention to offer after-school activities to students in all grades so that they have to opportunity to experience hands-on learning which has been designed as an outlet for their creativity.
Next month is Reading Month. Some special events are in the works ! Keep referring back to the Dieck home page for updates on all the great things happening at Dieck Elementary.
