A noun is a person, place, or objects. A phrase is words put together.

A noun phrase is a group of words that includes a subject.

Verb Phrase

A verb is a word that has action. A verb phrase is part a sentence that includes a verb and an object.

Articles

The articles of english grammer are "a", "an", "the". Articles tell reader further about the noun.

The letter I is not a noun , yet I is pronoun . I is a pronoun because it replaces a noun. For example if you had a really long name you wouldn't want to always say that when you say something. You would say I .

Linking Verb & Action Verb

A linking verb is when you attach words together that shows a action. A action verb are verbs that describes what the subject is doing. The difference between the two is that a action verb describes action and a connects the subject and the doing of it.
