Wild West Teacher Appreciation Week: Coming soon (May 7-11)

Howdy Partners! The Wild West Luncheon

We’re hosting a soup and salad bar and are rounding up some fixins! This has become a staple of teacher appreciation week at NES and we can’t pull it off without your help and donations. All information and sign ups can be found at:

The Wild West Teacher Raffles/Giveaway

Every year, for as long as we can remember, the finale of Teacher Appreciation Week has been a raffle basket bonanza. This year instead of soliciting donations from local businesses, we are asking NES families to help us purchase and donate gift cards from local stores and restaurants for our first ever NES Gift Card giveaway! Treasure Jars!!

A NES Spring Fling Tradition!

Treasure Jars are a NES favorite at Spring Fling each year--all players of the Treasure Jar game walk away with a prize! Right now, we need your help making the jars! (Don't forget: the class that collects the most treasure jars wins a prize!)

Collection period: NOW through May 17.

Reminders: For the safety of our students, please pay special attention to these guidelines. Absolutely no food, candy or containers containing NUTS/TREENUTS. No recycled medicine containers and no breakable glass jars. All items in the jars should be clean, new, unused and again, peanut-free!

Where do I send the jars? Send jars into school with your child. They will be collected from each classroom. You may send in multiple jars – there is no limit! The classroom that collects the most treasure jars for the Spring Fling event will earn an extra recess.

Girl Scout 5th grade Junior troop #2555 will continue with their bag collection until May 31, 2018!
