The Weekly Hoot

Greetings All -
Well...after a fight, a few bus referrals, and a couple of "pooping" incidents today, I feel like school has officially started! Haha! Actually, it has been nice this week seeing routines falling into place and "school" actually starting. I am a routine gal for the most part, so this makes me happy.
I think we are finally getting the AC issues worked out. Hopefully all of the problems in the past with that are a distant memory. If you are still having any issues, please let me know so that we can address them individually.
Math books came in today and have been distributed to the grade levels. I am still waiting on the TEKS Review Books. As soon as I have any type of update on that, I will definitely let you know.
During all of the beginning of the year hub bub, I realize that I have confused you about Tier 2 Reading Intervention this year. I had always assumed we would utilize Read Well for Tier 2, but now that I know Envision has Tier 2 in place, it seems smart to utilize that just like we do for Tier 2 Math. This would leave Read Well for Tier 3. If you are a grade level that would rather use Read Well for Tier 2, please let me know that. I am sorry for the confusion. I just didn't remember that Envision had Intervention embedded. Let me know thoughts on this...
Tier 3 will begin pulling students on Monday during scheduled times. I am sure the first couple of days will be a little hectic, but I know the services are needed. Thank you to everyone for being flexible. :)
Don't forget that we have Joanna's baby shower on Monday afternoon. It is a diaper/gift card shower, so let's make sure sweet little baby girl Sorenson is showered with lots of love.
Everyone have a great weekend! Donovan and I are resting up tonight because he plays at the Western Club tomorrow evening. Today another place called ME to set up a date for HIM to come and play. We are going to have to discuss a salary for this "manager" status I seem to have! LOL! I hope everyone does something fun this weekend and comes back ready to hit the ground running on Monday! Stay safe!
Building Champions!
Love to all -

Owl Wings This Week Go To...
Donna Gessner, Michelle Moreland, Sarah Lee, and Bridget Coronado for being so flexible. We were having a hard time getting all of the breakfast kiddos fed before announcements, but these ladies have graciously committed to being here ready for the BUS doors to be open at 7:20. That gives us 5 more minutes for breakfast for the majority of our breakfast eaters. Thank you ladies for doing whatever it takes to ensure our school runs smoothly and students are successful.
