There are opportunities for grant funding on remake events and career backpack challenge events for remake learning days. Please consider hosting an event to engage our students, families, non-profit agencies, and businesses for a hands-on experience. We are looking for event hosts!

Seed Your Future
Seed Your Future is excited to announce our new professional development program for high school teachers in line with Next Generation Science Standards! We’re seeking 30 high school science educators for an expenses-paid immersive professional development experience June 2-6, 2024, in order to prompt plant science, horticulture, and floriculture careers for students across the US.
Participants will receive industry training and immerse themselves in onsite locations to learn about career opportunities, allowing them to experience horticulture in a way that will enable them to explain industry careers to their students in greater detail.

We are proud to announce the "PA Dream Team", an outreach program here to help educators looking to provide students an opportunity to explore future manufacturing careers. They can share information about their role, their career path, fun activities, and all the interesting things about working in the manufacturing world. The Dream Team website, including a form for educators to request an appearance is now live!
Local manufacturers, brought together by NWIRC, have formed "The Manufacturing Dream Team". They're ready to share about careers in manufacturing and different paths to get there.
Available for classroom presentations, career fairs, hosting facility tours, and other special events, educators can request an appearance from the Manufacturing Dream Team using the form on their website. Visit their site HERE for the list of manufacturers and to find out more!

If you are an educator and would like to host a watch party with your students, WQED Future Jobs Working Today will provide a screener in a box (includes popcorn, bottled water, Future Jobs Activity Packet, student certificate, and a Teacher gift!).
