Irish Claddagh Earrings

Wednesday, March 2, 4 pm, Harmony Library

Grades 6-12 are invited to get into the St. Paddy's spirit and make your own pair of traditional Irish Claddagh earrings using jewelry pliers, beads, and Claddagh pendants. After-school snacks will be provided. Register at 949-2850.

Minecraft LEGOS

St. Patrick's Day Party

After School Art: Watercolor Wonders

Little Artists

This is process based, open ended art for your preschooler, ages 3-1/2 -5, focusing on famous artists such as Pablo Picasso during his Blue and Red Periods, splatter painting like Jackson Pollock, and feet painting like Kazuo Shiraga. Call 568-6077 to register.

Special Notice: The Harmony Library recently traded in its old Nooks for two of the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab 4Nook devices. Patrons can borrow a device for three weeks and read the latest bestsellers. Try out the Nook for a future purchase and enjoy a variety of apps.

Medicinal Tea Workshop
Tuesday, March 1, 6 pm, Harmony Library

Enjoy a class on medicinal teas with Tracy Gilchrist. Learn about the history of teas and about what herbs to use in your tea to address different ailments. All participants will leave with a packet of recipes and will have the opportunity to taste samples and to mix their own blend of teas to take home. Tracy Gilchrist is a natural wellness practitioner and educator who has completed extensive coursework in herbalism. There is a $5 materials' fee for this class. Cookbook Club

This month's selection is Jamie's Food Revolution: Rediscover How to Cook Simple, Delicious, Affordable Meals by Jamie Oliver. The club works this way: every month - pick up a copy of that month's cookbook selection at the library. Choose a recipe to make and prepare it for the meeting. Fearless Art Club

During the month of March, the club will explore the painting technique known as Pointillism and how it does and does not relate to the drawing technique called stippling. New members are always welcome.

Glocester Land Trust Overview

The Trustees of the Glocester Land Trust will give an overview of the activities available on Land Trust properties. Whether you are interested in recreation such as hiking and trail walks, or educational programs, such as habitat exploration, the Glocester Land Trust has much to offer during all four seasons. Enjoy a slide presentation narrated by the Land Trust Chair Stephen Mitchell.

Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop

Memoir Writers Group

Participants develop their writing skills by reading published memoirs, writing short essays, and sharing their writing with the group, led by Writing Coach Pat Kenny.
