College Credit Information Night
Richardson ISD currently offers three different opportunities for students in our high schools to earn college credits in not only core and some elective courses but also in Career and Technical Education (CTE)courses. Opportunities for college credit can be obtained through our Advanced Placement or AP courses, Dallas County Community College District dual credit courses, and The University of Texas OnRamps dual enrollment courses.
All parents and students are encouraged to attend this informational meeting on Wednesday, February 20, beginning at 6:30 pm, in the Administration Building Auditorium located at 400 South Greenville Avenue.
The meeting includes presentations about AP, dual credit and OnRamps, discussing program requirements, similarities and differences. Our goal is for participants to leave with a better understanding about these college credit opportunities and to make informed decisions about which program is best for their future goals.
