Joyce Noah is Ray-Pec 2018 Volunteer of the Year
The Raymore-Peculiar Council of PTAs announced Joyce Noah as the 2018 Volunteer of the Year. The announcement came at a reception on April 26 to honor finalists.
Joyce has served as PTA president at Timber Creek Elementary, Eagle Glen, and the Middle School. She is the current treasurer of the PTA Council. She has also served on a number of PTA and District-wide planning committees.
The Volunteer of the Year award is one way the PTA Council recognizes exceptional volunteers throughout the district. In selecting the winners, the Council considers significant contributions, positive impact on the school, and special skills and qualities that the nominees bring to their volunteer work.
Distinguished Alumni nomination period now open
Do you know someone who exemplifies the values, tradition, and successes of Raymore-Peculiar High School? It must be someone who graduated from RPHS, Raymore High School, or Peculiar High School, at least 10 years ago.
The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation would like to honor and recognize these outstanding individuals with the annual Distinguished Alumni Award.
The 2018 winners of the award will be notified in August and will be honored at a luncheon, a tailgate party, and during the Homecoming Football Game on Sept. 14.
Anyone may nominate a graduate for consideration.

Something People Might Not Know About Me: I used to live in Ireland! I was lucky to be able to do a study-abroad program in college, so I lived in Louisburgh, Ireland (County Mayo) for a semester during my sophomore year. Since it was such an amazing experience and a beautiful country, I had to go back after college, so I brought my husband there twice! :)

District seeks parents and patron feedback
The District is seeking feedback from parents, patrons and staff. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey linked below. Responses will help the District evaluate and improve our efforts.
We have shortened the survey from prior years to reflect the more focused approach of our Strategic Plan. The survey will close May 30. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Continuous improvement is a key component of the District's Strategic Plan. Many of the goals in the plan require performance measurement, and the District will monitor a range of indicators, including such varied items as ACT scores, employee retention rates, and financial data.
