Thursday's Beautiful Sunrise over Cadott Elementary
PV2 Goettl visits Cadott Elementary Students this week!
Austin visited each and every classroom on Wednesday to express his sincere thanks for the letters they wrote to him when he was in Army Basic Training this fall at Fort Benning in Georgia.
As Austin visited each classroom and then spent lunch with them he shared many aspects of his training, answered questions, and expressed his deepest thanks for the cards, letters, and encouraging words.
He said it really made him feel better when he was so far from home, family and friends. He encouraged our students to work hard so they would reach their own dreams.
Cyber Bullying and Technology Misuse
Students are not allowed to use their devices at school during school hours, but that doesn't mean that how these things are being used outside of school doesn't interfere with their learning and their self esteem.
I have had several situations brought to my attention recently and am concerned that some of our students are not using their devices in kind ways. When I hear specific information that may involve specific students or grades I will be communicating information with those families so that together we can assure our students are feeling safe in and out of school. I care about the futures of each of our students in this elementary and because of technology misuse, students are being hurt.
Thank you,
Mrs. Goettl

As Cub Scouts, boys will learn about many things, including citizenship, physical fitness, outdoor skills, sharing, teamwork, self-confidence, respect for others and good character. Cub Scouts is open to boys in Kindergarten through Fifth grade this fall (ages 5-11).
