Navigating Teens & Mental Health
It’s a statistic often quoted in the UK: In any given year, one in four of us will experience some kind of mental health struggle. We have an epidemic on our hands. Already mental illness is the most common cause of work absence in Britain and, globally, it constitutes the largest single source of world economic burden ($2.5 trillion per year). If you aren’t struggling with mental illness, someone close to you is. (TGC: Glen Scrivener)
The following documents attempt to summarize and shed a little bit of light to you concerning the idea of mental health especially as it relates to students. 2. Virginia governor’s defense of abortion turns into a defense of infanticide // THE BRIEFING (JAN 31, 2019)
The relationship between culture and morality is natural, it's essential. You can't have culture without morality and of course the culture also influences the morality. But cultures themselves take on a moral profile. The trajectory of the culture is indicated by the trajectory of its morality. Furthermore, there is a baseline minimal morality that is necessary for a culture to exist. There is an obvious historic question, at what point does the breaking of a moral code lead to the break up of a society? Of an entire culture?

3. CBC YOUTH MISSIONS // COSTA RICA // JUNE 19-26
For the third year in a row, CBC Youth will be hosting an international mission trip to Costa Rica partnering with LA Ranch Ministries. Previously we have brought 72 participants all of which are able to tell you their experience and how God changed them. We are always looking to invite youth plus their families to go. However, we are opening this trip to some of our partnering churches to come and have a vision trip.
