Setting Up For Success

Working in the VLA is a partnership between the student, the student's family and the education team. Together we ensure the student is academically challenged, emotionally supported and engaged in their work. Students are measured for attendance by the following:

  • keeping up with the Edgenuity assignments
  • participating in the synchronous sessions with your CRPUSD Teacher
  • communicating, students and families, with your Edgenuity and CRPUSD Teacher

Please contact the team if you have any questions about these expectations.

Problem of the Month - Community Math Task

Work with your student/s to work through this problem. Spend the time talking out ideas and documenting the thinking of every family member. If your family would like Math Journal, pop by the VLA office to pick one up. This helps all of you to record how your math communication skills will grow over time. The family can add ideas to the Jamboard and/or use the notebook then take a photo to upload to the Jamboard. Include student name and grade, eg Raymond L./1st. Have fun mathing!
