Hello from our School Social Worker
A message from Miss Mary...
Hello Tiger Paw Families!
BEING KIND AND SHOWING EMPATHY are the themes for our social-emotional learning groups for the month of February. We will be learning how we can show kindness to others. Some examples are being supportive, friendly, polite, sharing, and apologizing. Being empathic can be a hard concept for our younger students to learn, but what a powerful attribute to have!
“Empathy is the most important attribute we can possess. Empathy is the ability to understand how a person feels and why they feel that way.”

Some of the books that I will be sharing with our classes and groups will be A Little Spot of Kindness, A Little Spot of Love, and A Little Spot of Sadness by Dian Alber, as well as Kindness Starts with You by Jacquelyn Stagg
