Mission and Vision Statement
The mission of Jefferson County Upper Elementary School is to provide a 21st century learning environment that produces civically, responsible scholars that are college and career ready.
The vision of Jefferson County Upper Elementary School is to foster an enthusiastic, creative community of scholars ready to influence change in the world.

Dear Families and Community Members:
We are close to the end of our 2021 testing cycle. We will begin this week with Grade 5 Science MAAP testing. The remaining schedule for testing is listed below-
Monday, May 10- Last names A-Z MAAP Science
Tuesday, May 11- Last names A-J MAAP ELA
Wednesday, May 12- Last names A-J MAAP Writing
Thursday, May 13- Last names K-Z MAAP ELA
Monday, May 17- Last names K-Z MAAP Writing
Tuesday, May 18- Make-up Testing
Wednesday, May 19- Make-up Testing
Chromebook Returns
Last names A-J can begin turning in Chromebooks after testing on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Last names K-Z can begin turning in Chromebooks after testing on Monday, May 17, 2021. Before turning in the Chromebook, the following will be checked-
- All required MAAP tests have been completed.
- Clearance form completed (issued to students).
- $45 Chromebook fee paid.
- Charger is being returned (If not, must pay $15 fee).
- Cover is being returned.
If the Chromebook is damaged, parents must take the Chromebook along with a $150 fee to the Central Office.
