Zachary Taylor was born in November 24, 1784 . He did not attend in any schools since there was none on the Kentucky frontier. He has 3 children and a great wife. All his children past away. But he was strong, and then Zachary Taylor died was because he drunk a lot of cherries and milk for a celebration. And his phrase was FOR PRESIDENT OF THE PEOPLE.

gone to West Point. He had furthermore spent most
of his career at obscure frontier army posts. Taylor had never voted for president, and most people figured he knew nothing about politics.

Still, the 63-year-old Taylor could boast of one important achievement in the summer of 1848. He was ''Old Rough and Ready,'' hero of the Battle of Buena Vista in the Mexican War, which had ended in February
